Exposing Tomas Peters (aka Dan Legg)
& Wiser Investments
– The Truth Behind the Scam

⚠️ New Scam Attempt – January 26, 2026
On January 26, 2026, I received a phone call from 647-243-5903. The caller identified himself as “Brian Robert” and claimed to be calling from a company called Long Time Solution.
He stated that Wiser Investments was shut down on January 5, 2025 and claimed he had access to my alleged trading account. He said he could help recover and transfer my funds, provided I first paid a 5% release fee.
When I asked him to simply deduct the 5% from the supposed account balance, he said this was “not possible” and insisted that the fee must be sent separately before any funds could be released.
This is a well-known recovery scam tactic used to target victims who have already been defrauded — attempting to extract even more money by pretending to help recover losses.
After thanking him for the story, I informed him that I would be adding this interaction to the multiple websites already published exposing Dan Legg, Wiser Investments, and their associated scams.
⚠️ Warning:
If you are contacted by anyone claiming they can recover funds from Wiser Investments or related entities in exchange for an upfront fee, it is almost certainly another scam.
* Phone numbers, names, and companies used by these scammers may change frequently.
* Legitimate fund recovery does not require upfront payments to release your own money.
🚨 Scam Alert: Tomas Peters (aka Dan Legg) – Forex Fraud Warning
This website exists to expose Tomas Peters, who also goes by Dan Legg, and operates under the fraudulent trading platform TomasFX. He has scammed innocent people through fake Forex trading, Telegram groups, and cryptocurrency schemes — leaving a trail of victims across Canada, the UK, and beyond.
🧨 How the Scam Worked
Tomas previously ran a Telegram channel where he actively recruited victims, particularly in Canada. He encouraged people to “fund a trading account” with a minimum of $250 USD, then connected them with a fake company called Wiser Investments.
These scammers operated under two now-defunct websites:
-
wiser-investment.co
-
wiser-investment.com
They falsely claimed to be a Canadian branch of a legitimate business called Wiser Investments based in Atlanta, Georgia. That is a lie. They are not connected in any way to the real company.
🕵️♂️ Who You May Have Spoken To
Wiser Investments had several fake “representatives,” including:
-
Mario Rizzi
-
Francesco Russo
-
Henry Clam
-
Brian Eerdman
-
Brian Robert
(These are almost certainly fake names.)
🧊 How Victims Were Scammed
-
You fund your account via credit card with $250.
-
A rep like “Mario” starts calling you daily, builds trust, and talks you through fake trades.
-
You're encouraged to invest more, often citing “big things happening” with Ripple or other crypto.
-
Larger deposits are demanded via crypto transfer.
-
Once you send crypto, your funds are stolen.
The trading platform is completely fake, and the gains you see are manipulated to trap you.
When you try to withdraw?
You’ll get excuses, delays, and eventually—radio silence.
⚠️ If You’ve Been Contacted
Avoid all communication with Tomas Peters, Dan Legg, or anyone claiming to be from Wiser Investments (especially via Telegram or WhatsApp). They are running an organized crypto scam.
